Scurryface is the only organization out there who offers secret reps. Secret reps are the amazing individuals who do not want the spotlight that travels to many haunts and will report back overall experience scores. While we have officially left the review side of things, we are still keeping true to scoring outside of our promotional articles. Our followers and readers still want us to keep our end of the season rankings and this is how we'll be able to achieve that. The point of the secret reps is visit the haunts unannounced and score the overall experience without the haunt even knowing they were there. It's a great gauge to see if the haunt is giving a consistent quality show each and every night while charging the public. Any haunt can spice and amp up their show when they know a review group/media group is on the property. It's what they do when they don't know we're there is what counts. That is the purpose of our secret reps and how haunts earn those rankings.
We will never release the full names or pictures of our secret reps.. If we did, it wouldn't be much of a secret and then the whole point of it would defeat itself.
Haunts in certain states will be visited multiple times on different dates by different reps.
SECRET REPS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR BOOKING
Secret reps make their own tours separate from our article tours. Their scores (which will range from 1 - 10) are based on the overall experience of each attraction. It is not a reflection on the promotional articles that we release. Take the scores how you will but their scores will determine our end of the season rankings. Not 1 secret rep is employed by any haunt. Secrets reps are consumers and enthusiasts of the haunted attraction industry. Their scores will reflect their personal experience while at the haunted attractions.
